I just got back from the most wonderful class with Diana Frey and Riki Shumacher in Pismo Beach. I learned so much as we worked PMC clay. This is really fun stuff (like I need another hobby...ha!) but really it was a very fun two day event. I drove up with my friend Sandy and we picked up my sweet friend Charlene Gray at the airport as she flew in from Texas for this class. I think I am hooked on these two ladies as they were just awesome and fun teachers, we learned so much! I got some tips on etching which I done some before, but the tips Diana gave made my piece turn out so much nicer. I learned to make molds for the clay to go into, and to hand roll the clay and shape or stamp it, also how to layer two pieces together. Learned about cold connections...now that a big word...which is drilling, punching, screwing and puting in nails and rivits into our peices. I loved working with all to COOL TOOLS!
When we where there Diana showed us a sneak peek at the MOST AMAZING NECKLACE that she is doing a class for in July sometime.....I'm so there....and she is also doing her first online tutorial of her heart to heart necklaces that are in this months Stampington. She is also doing a giveaway for a FREE tutorial! Yeah...so hop on over to her blog to see how you can have a chance to win!!!! www.dianafrey.blogspot.com
